Animals farm is one of many books by George Orwell, a famous writer. The book starts out with Old Major , a pig, describe a dream he had about a world where all animals live free from the tyranny of their human masters. Shortly after the speech, he dies. That's when Napoleon, another pig, decides that it's time to take control of the farm as the other animals' "leader". When Mr. Jones forgets to feed the animals, the revolution occurs, and Jones and his men are chased off the farm. The animals then paint the "Seven Commandments" on the barn wall. Later that fall, Jones and his men go and try to take Animal Farm back. Much of the next year is spent building the windmill. When a storm topples the half-finished windmill, Napoleon blames Snowball and orders the animals to begin rebuilding it. Napoleon becomes a totalitarian dictator. The language of the Commandments is revised, then reduced to a single law: "All animals are equal, but some are more equal than others." In the end, the pigs are found drinking alcohol and playing a card game with the humans. As the other animals watch from outside the window, they can't tell the pigs from the humans.
